This is my friend Sara. She is ten years old and she is from Oran. Her father is a baker and her mother is a nurse. She has one brother. His name is Anis. Her favourite subject is Drawing. She gets up at seven o'clock and she goes to school at eight o'clock.
Marking scale:
- Relevant content (1.5 pts): name, age and town (0.5 pt) – family and jobs (0.5 pt) – favourite subject and daily routine (0.5 pt).
- Correct sentences and grammar (1 pt): correct use of is / has, the pronouns she / her, and the third person -s (gets up, goes) → 1 pt. Deduct 0.25 pt for each repeated type of mistake.
- Spelling and presentation (0.5 pt): correct spelling, capital letters, full stops and a tidy paragraph.
