This is my family. My father is a doctor. His name is Karim. He is forty-two. My mother is a teacher. Her name is Samira. She is thirty-eight. I have got one sister and one brother. My sister's name is Lina. She is eight. My brother is Anis. He is fifteen. We have got a cat. Its name is Mimi. I love my family!

  • Content: the paragraph gives the information on the card (identity, school, parents, brother). (1,5)
  • Correct language: to be, have got, subject pronouns and possessive adjectives are used correctly. (2)
  • Vocabulary: family words, jobs, numbers and nationality are used correctly. (1)
  • Coherence and layout: the sentences are linked and form one paragraph, with a clear beginning and end. (1)
  • Spelling and punctuation: capital letters and full stops are used correctly. (0,5)

Total: 20 points.
