Model answer:

This is Sofiane. His name is Sofiane Haddad. He is eleven years old. He is Algerian and he is from Constantine. His father is Nadir and he is a doctor. Sofiane has a sister. Her name is Meriem and she is eight years old.

Marking criteria (6 points):

  • Relevance and use of the information from the card, with no important information missing: 2 points
  • Correct grammar (am / is / are, he / she, his / her, word order): 2 points
  • Vocabulary and spelling: 1 point
  • Punctuation (capital letters, full stops) and presentation: 1 point

Do not penalise the same mistake more than once. A paragraph of fewer than 4 sentences gets at most 3 points.
